Our recent history begins with a vision: reinventing job posting, an HR vertical that has not evolved in the past 20 years
Our approach is not only HR oriented, the financial dimension is also part of our DNA: we resolutely focus on the return on investment of a job post, by optimizing the CPA (cost per application).
We are convinced that to reinvent job posting, we have the right mix of expertise:

Our history
The birth of Xtramile
In 2017, Xavier Ragage attended a Job Summit in London, during which Google and Indeed presented the complex online recruitment market. Since Xavier comes from the financial world, his professional reflexes are back in force. Therefore, he asks:
—Is there a database showing, for each function, the average cost of receiving an application and the best choice of channels for obtaining it? A bit like in finance with Bloomberg asset price tables.
The negative response from the speakers was the trigger for Xavier and the start of a great adventure.
His main idea: apply the principles of financial trading to recruitment. This is how the concept of Job Trading and Xtramile was born. From Job Posting to Job Trading.

Some key dates and the story of an encounter
2017
Xavier Ragage and Stéphanie Nenta create Xtramile, at the crossroads of recruitment and AI.
2022
Xtramile is exploring what will become its future positioning: the 100% automated job broadcast platform.
2024
Stéphanie wanted to move on to other professional projects and left Xtramile, while Joel Bentolila was convinced by the company and joined Xavier.
Xavier and Joel then give new impulse to Xtramile. Thanks to the duo in charge, the company found its market. Based on data and AI models, Xtramile provides recruiters with the means to optimize their publishing budget with finesse using its HR multicast platform.
2025
The company completed a seed fundraiser and signed major accounts in France, Benelux and Italy.







The founders
Two partners with complementary skills.
Xavier started his professional career at JP Morgan as a client manager, then a banker and trader, specializing in alternative investments.
Attracted by entrepreneurship, he started into HR Tech in 2017, in a segment at the crossroad of HR and finance, which would become the DNA of Xtramile a few years later: moving from Job Posting to Job Trading.
A fan of the intersection of disciplines, Xavier is also interested in the creation of businesses and has written a book on the subject.
Joel worked for major software companies before co-founding Talentsoft in 2007. As the CTO of Talentsoft, he built the product strategy and developed with his teams the Talentsoft HR SaaS platform. He sold the company in 2021, then shared his entrepreneurial experience with many founders of French Tech ecosystem.
This is how, in 2022, he meets Xavier. Both share the same observation: the job posting market has not changed in 10 years. The meeting is decisive.
In 2024, they chose to join forces to breathe new life into Xtramile and reinvent the job posting market. Joel becomes “late co-founder” of Xtramile as General Manager, in charge of Product & Technology.
